My volunteer time for the great Africa sea forest was great and one of a kind! They helped me with everything from picking me up at the airport to grocery shopping. The people who run CapeRADD Mike and Dylan made the experience great and showed me so much about ocean diversity and plant life. Workingabroad had such great communication and Jack Digman especially helped me through everything and always made sure to email me back whenever I had questions.

Galapagos is a place I had wanted to visit for almost my whole life so I feel incredibly lucky and privileged to have had the opportunity to go there and actually do something to help the wildlife and community. I have to say a big thanks to working abroad because especially with covid still being an issue I was really worried about travelling but they gave me all the information I needed and were always really prompt at responding, either by phone or email which was nice. The experience itself, once on site, was wonderful. I had the chance to get up close to the giant tortoises and experience what it takes to run the breeding centre. The unexpected aspect of the tip for me was that I ended up meeting lots of great like-minded people who have become firm friends. All in all a fantastic trip!

Imcredible support from the staff at Wprking Abroad, providing everything we needed to smoothly get from London to the base in Ojochal, Costa Rica. The project and time spend in costa rica was the best experience of my life and would thoroughly recommend using Working Abroad to find an adventure somewhere in the world.

I volunteered last year, through Working Abroad, with a large cat sanctuary in South Africa called Panthera. Working Abroad were very helpful and supportive from the start. Staying and working at Panthera was an experience never to forget. I fell in love with the country the people I met and worked with, and of course the beautiful animals. They all had a story, mostly sad existences, but coming to Panthera was life changing for every animal. Panthera, with the help of volunteers, made life for the animals healthy, comfortable and happy, that was evident. They are encouraged to be as wild as possible . Being a volunteer gave me a great sense of being able to help these animals that had previously been badly treated. The work was varied, sometimes tough and sometimes a shock to the system! I never knew a lion could poo so much, all to be cleaned up! A great way to learn about wildlife and another country and its people. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Working Abroad!
