Capokolam

Capokolam provides educational arts programs to children in impoverished and disadvantaged communities, suffering the effects of war, natural disaster, and endemic poverty.

We are currently building an August 2016 program with a number of such communities in Sri Lanka, in Eastern and Northern Provinces, and in the central tea plantations.

We are seeking educators, artists, Capoeiristas, English teachers, dancers, musicians, actors, martial artists, and sports persons. This is to add to a diverse roster of talented, passionate, and progressive individuals, for this project and future projects there and in the global South. We welcome informal and alternative, as well as formal, qualifications and experiences.
