Promise Opens Doors

Promise Opens Doors provides the TESOL Core Certificate Program—a 140-hour (145 here at POD) blended training program providing a foundation in the theory and practice of English language teaching (ELT). According to TESOL International Association, “The certificate program provides a summary of the core knowledge of the TESOL field to support individuals in enhancing their professional practice and careers in serving the needs of English language learners (ELLs).”

Currently, Promise Opens Doors only offers the young learner elective, which is for teachers wanting to focus on students K-12.

The TESOL Core Certificate is important as resume-builder and in many instances is a requirement for certain teaching positions in foreign countries.
