Overview
The Foundation works to improve the economic opportunities and life chances of young Thai people, by providing high quality, practical English language education in government schools on Phuket Island. We are looking for a dedicated office fellow to come and join our team in Phuket. The role involves the following:
-Fundraising Campaigns, Event Coordination
-Communications and Marketing
-Volunteer Recruitment and Management
-Human Resource Management
-Administrative Tasks
Ideal for recent graduates or more experienced applicants. Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
Minimum 6 month contract. Accommodation and local transport in lieu of salary.

Everyday after school we run Coconut Club for the residential students. This gives them a chance to practice their English in a relaxed environment as well as have fun with teachers and friends.

Every couple of months we throw a birthday party for our residential students. They get cake, pizza, gifts and the chance to play some fun games to celebrate their birthday.
On Saturdays we take some of the children to the beach to teach them to swim. They also get the chance to have fun while playing beach games!

I volunteered with Phuket Has Been Good To Us as a volunteer office fellow for 9 months in 2015-2016. It was a great experience to be a part of the small but dedicated team of teachers and fundraising volunteers in an amazing location. You get to interact with the children everyday so you get the chance to see where all your hard fundraising work is going. The accommodation was great and Kamala is a small town with all the necessary facilities (not too close to the infamous Patong but also not too far away). I would recommend this internship to anyone wanting to make a difference while gaining experience in NGO work and fundraising.
