Overview

_SocialStarters is an immersion volunteer training programme for people who want more experience in social entrepreneurship and to realise the next step in their career. We currently run our six week programmes in India, Brazil and Sri Lanka.

We work with two groups of people: International volunteers who want to gain hands on social entrepreneurship experience and young entrepreneurs in developing countries who lack training in social entrepreneurship. We connect these two groups together to develop sustainable social impact ventures and launch new start-ups.

Through UnLtd Hyderabad we worked with an organisation called WeWeave, a social enterprise which teaches employed women how to make handicrafts which are then sold in local markets.
