The Bulbulir Basa orphanage was founded in December, 2000 as a direct response to the high levels of homeless children and street children in Kolkata. This orphanage provides a safe and secure environment for these vulnerable children. The orphanage is a loving family atmosphere, dedicated to helping the children build character and advance in academic.The orphanage is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious society. It is registered in the West Bengal Societies Act (registration number S/IL/3311).
To maintain a safe and pleasant environment for abandoned children and care for all their needs, including medical, education, and cultural. The children will attend school and receive classes in Bengali music and arts in order to strengthen cultural ties.

The building of our orphanage Where 12 kids are living. At our same premises we are also using as a multipurpose use like medical dispensary and free coaching centre. It was established on 2001.
Boys at our orphanage. They are living here. They get food, shelter and education.
At "Holi" in India. It is our festival. It is call colour festival. Here we have celebrate with all together.
Free education and computer class. We have also another activities for helpless children in our local community.
Free schooling at English medium. Right now we provide only 3 boys in English medium school. Rest of our boys in Bengali medium.
In the school. there are 5 to 10 years old boys to get free schooling.
