Overview
The Cape Town Research and Conservation Initiative undertakes environmental research and conservation action in collaboration with our partners in the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve.
Cape Town volunteer programs include both marine & terrestrial conservation projects. As a volunteer, you will be based at our research centre in Langebaan where you will take part in projects across the region.
Our programs incorporate long term monitoring, mapping, and fieldwork to provide scientific data to our partners. In addition, we actively engage in implementing conservation strategies and contributing to environmental education.
