The Marina Orth Foundation aims to provide a superior, modern education specializing in English, technology and leadership to children and adults in Colombia.
Volunteers are expected to stay with the foundation for a minimum of one school semester, working a full workweek(school hours). Work primarily consists of taking charge of afterschool clubs (based on existing clubs and volunteer skills and interests), assisting the English teacher in their classes and possibly helping the foundation on other projects.
Chosen candidates will be provided with room and board with a host family, as well as a modest monthly stipend to help with basic living costs. There are no programme fees, though volunteers are expected to pay for there transport to Colombia and their volunteer visa.
