Visit GREENDRAGONABROAD's website to learn more about their programs abroad
Founded in 2017, the Green Dragon Abroad is a newly invested Program helping underdeveloped villages in China to receive progressive education. We also dedicated ourselves to provide study/volunteer abroad experience for students who are older, of minority background, employed, disabled, or have limited funds. By joining us, participants will be offered opportunities to soak up the true Chinese lifestyle while mastering their Chinese language skills and developing teaching skills. The program consists of several carefully designed sections that provide the experience for participants to see the best and the worst sides of China like no other program can.

They ask for bachelor's degree to join the program. However, there are people without bachelor's degree in my program. It seems like if you can demonstrate your knowledge on education you can get in without a college degree. I was a little bit disappointed when I find out it is not a position requires bachelor's degree. So before you commit yourself to work here over ten months or a year, keep this information in mind.

This program is very more like an internship than a volunteer program. It pays for flight and accommodation. It is still kind of new, so you can see some of the amenities are still in progress. However, the staff tries very hard to provide a quality program. And you cannot beat the price. It is pretty good if you want to do something different and travel at low cost.
