Despite the fact that I have not been on my trip yet I want to write a review on the excellent preparation that NGOabroad and especially Ann McLaughlin offers. She is super helpful and it feels like she is available 24/7 to answer questions. I feel very prepared for my trip thanks to Ann. She has done an outstanding job at writing a personal review of the country and people I will be visiting and the things I will be doing.

I am a student at the University of Washington and I wanted to volunteer abroad last Summer. I did not want to go with some tour group or to some hotel; I wanted to stay with local people and use my education to help them as they saw fit. I only hoped that I would be needed.
Fortunately, I was able to find NGOabroad. It connected me to the kind of experience I was looking for. By the end of my three month trip, I was deeply embedded into the community and had learned a lot about the local people. I had also helped out by volunteering at the local high school. I was able to apply my skills in a truly rewarding experience.
As I had never traveled before, I could not have had this experience without NGOabroad. They helped me prepare for the trip and provided the necessary safety information. They connected me with a local family, whom I would not have known about if it were not for NGOabroad.
If you are looking to travel information, I recommend you contact this organization and hear what sort of plans they could craft for you. They truly tailor their services to your exact needs, allowing you to have a fulfilling experience.
