We all want to create a better world, but what’s the best way to go about doing it? Following the close of the Second World War, President Eisenhower asked himself the same thing. And his answer was this: by developing better understanding and empathy between people of different cultures. With this goal in mind, he created People-to-People International.

Founded in 1956 by President Eisenhower, People to People International promotes international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures. The vision is that That a cross-cultural network of engaged and knowledgeable everyday citizen leaders will be an active force in creating and sustaining a more peaceful world.

What is People-to-People International? It’s an international student travel program, but it’s also so much more. It’s an opportunity to experience different cultures and rewarding volunteer opportunities, all while investing in your future. Check out People-to-People International today, and see what opportunities are available.
