Rancho Esperanza

We are a small scale, hands on initiative that relies on the contribution and commitment of both time and resources from volunteers to carry out our community work and aid in our ongoing growth. Our mission is to work with the community of Jiquilillo and surrounding areas to create and support social and environmental community-based programs, while providing a sustainable and positive eco-hostel destination for travelers and volunteers alike. Our afterschool program has been running for over nine years. We also host a Surf Club, provide English classes, eco-tourism business assistance, teaching assistance at the local primary school, tour guide training, and school sponsorships.
