Uganda Rural Fund

URF is a grassroots organization implementing educational and sustainable projects to empower AIDS orphans, underprivileged youth and women to fight poverty in rural communities of Uganda. Our programs include: a vocational high school, child sponsorship, youth leadership, women empowerment, water and sanitation, food security, child-headed family support, after school program, village banking, a medical clinic and medical camps, income-generating projects such as piggery, poultry, making herbal soap and vaseline, business skills training, a community library and computer center.

Our focus is on helping people become self-sustaining. As an forward-looking organization, our vision is empower people through education and leadership training so they can take charge of their destiny.
