Visit WorldTeach's website to learn more about their programs abroad

WorldTeach provides opportunities for individuals to serve as volunteer teachers around the world, working to educate students in countries that would otherwise be unable to afford qualified teachers. By partnering with Ministries of Education and other organizations, we send 400 volunteers annually to schools and communities that have specifically requested our support. Since our inception in 1986 at Harvard University, we have placed over 7,000 volunteers throughout Asia, Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Pacific, providing volunteers with teacher training, language preparation, housing, a monthly stipend and field support. We empower them to affect lasting change in the community where they work, and to become responsible global citizens.
