The Gambia Volunteer Experience

As a specialist tour operator, working in The Gambia for over 25 years, we have joined forces with the award-winning volunteer organisation, people & places, to enable those who wish to give their time, expertise and enthusiasm in The Gambia as a volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to share their nursery and creative learning skills to work with local teachers to help them deliver the best possible educational start to the children in their care. We are also looking for volunteers to help with development and support for The Gambia’s Childhood Development Centre.
Volunteers are also needed to help with community work, business skills and practical assistance to work with an internationally recognised local association in enabling Gambian people to build better livelihoods for themselves.
