I am participating in the VESAbroad program (Volunteering Eco Students Abroad) aimed to help people in remote South American villages improve there living conditions and education of their children. The fundraising us volunteers do helps to cover the costs of participating within the program. These costs include hiring local skilled trades people to supervise and assist in the building projects, translators, building materials and donations to local organisations. Every volunteer will complete a minimum of 40 hours of hands-on community based volunteer work.
