I volunteered with YAAPHA in 2016 and I stayed in Moshi for about 1 month teaching young people on Business management.
The target group was Youth who affected by drugs and were willing to stop and women at Kalimani street.
Also I joined in outreach program with YAAPHA staff team on house to house visit sharing information on HIV/AIDS .
Things I saw to the community it was a surprise and shocked me , I did not expect to see people suffering with extreme poverty , diseases and poor hygiene . This was a memorable experience ever .
I recommend people to visit YAAPHA and volunteer with them , they are amazing and well organized.
About accommodation and food were fantastic ,also they provide in town transport even for personal matters.
Thank you very much YAAPHA and Peter Bundala the project Coordinator for the good work.
