My name is Matthew Harangody, and I am a junior at Indiana University, Bloomington. After earning a biology degree in 2015, I plan on enrolling in veterinary school. This December, I will be traveling to Costa Rica to assist in the sterilization of animals in culturally challenged communities.
Animal Mission to Costa Rica
The primary focus of my mission to Costa Rica is to assist in the sterilization of animals in field clinics. During this time, I will receive training in various aspects of animal care. The neighborhoods there are currently overpopulated with cats and dogs, and it my goal to help them. My passion for animals stems from caring for my dog when he had his leg amputated. From then on, I knew what I wanted to do with my future - help animals. My mission to Costa Rica will give me that opportunity.
