Highland Support Project

We are facilitators, connectors and organizers. For the past seventeen years, Highland Partners has been providing a platform for direct aid, connecting North-Americans with indigenous communities. We create partnerships between North-Americans and Native communities in the Americas rather than relationships that reinforce a culture of dependency, creating mutually-beneficial experiences and relationships for both volunteers and the individuals they serve. Volunteers offer project assistance while also gaining valuable knowledge from indigenous communities, in an effort to foster agency and celebrate identity among these communities. An exchange of culture, history and humanity is shared between all participants.
