LAST is an international, independent, nonprofit and non-governmental organization that supports local sea turtle conservation in most states and countries of the Caribbean region, promoting cooperation between all nations. For over two decades LAST has worked alongside scientists, conservationists, resource managers and educators to promote sustainable and effective sea turtle management programs.
We are working for the Conservation, Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation of Sea Turtles on the Pacific and Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. We are currently receiving volunteers in our Osa In-Water Project on the Pacific Coast and in Pacuare, Sea Turtle Nesting Beach on the Caribbean Coast.
