Ros Geal University Residence offers accommodation to female students in Galway. However, Ros Geal is more than just accommodation. Ros Geal offers opportunities for university students to make a difference in the world, reach their personal best, and attain their academic goals. As part of the residence experience, Ros Geal provides local and international volunteering opportunities. Every summer, a group of students volunteer in Romania for 2 weeks, offering material assistance to the underprivileged. This experience benefits both the people of Romania and the Irish students who participate.

This will be my 3rd summer volunteering with Ros Geal. Every year has been a wonderful experience: I have learned a lot about myself and been fortunate enough to help others who are in very difficult situations. The support, mentoring, and overall personal development has been phenomenal. I have made great friends through volunteering with Ros Geal. I can't wait to go back!
