Overview

The Shambala Fellowship Program is designed to give those interested in international humanitarian work the opportunity to develop valuable skills in the humanitarian field while experiencing life in China’s Yunnan province. Fellows will work for Shambala Foundation’s main program Orphanage Without Walls, which serves severely impoverished orphans in western China.

Shambala Fellows should be individuals with a strong interest in humanitarian work who at least have a bachelor’s degree or are in their senior year of college when applying. Fellows will receive a living stipend (3000RMB/month), a living area with utilities covered, travel to and from China, and travelers insurance.Fellows will spend approximately eight months fundraising prior to arrival according to a plan they design.
