Sudan Volunteer Programme

Sudan Volunteers Programme (SVP) requires native English speaking graduates or near graduates to facilitate conversational English classes in universities and schools in Northern Sudan. Volunteers pay no programme fees and receive a stipend and accommodation but must commit to a placement of six months or more. Volunteers must pay or raise the money for their own flight and some initial expenses; accommodation and basic living expenses are met by the host institution.
